WOW! I just want you all to know that despite some of the reviews I've read, I think these silver rimmed plates are wonderful. The plates are light and look like porcelain when covered. Bought these for my mum's upcoming 70th birthday party in November 2015 and they will look amazing, until that date these plates will be tested to see if they hold up well when served on. I won't leave you all as you go. However, I have to say that I like the silver rimmed cymbal better than the gold rimmed cymbal I originally bought as the gold rim looks more brown/bronze. I ordered two batches of these dinner plates for shipping to Australia on April 29th 2015 and received them on May 13th 2015 and am ready to order more. Very happy with the packaging and delivery. Delivered in the same packaging as in the photo and packed in a shipping carton. Every detail was perfect. Couldn't be happier. No damage. Thanks for a great product.
