I bought this to take on vacation because I needed something light but spacious. I was concerned that this wouldn't be enough for a 3 week trip as I usually carry LOTS of makeup and toiletries when I travel. Also, I had to stay organized because we stayed in different hotels every night and couldn't unpack for a long time. But no worry. For my trip it actually worked perfectly and I've now replaced my usual large bag (the one I take with me when traveling by car and wasn't concerned about weight or extra luggage, 15-20lbs) with this. . It can take a lot more than you think. It has 2 zipped compartments and a removable TSA-approved clear plastic liquid pouch. There are also additional middle pockets for things. This gear pack is well designed and I'm still amazed at how much it holds. It can be hung from a shower rod, towel rail, door hook, door handle, closet rod or even over the top of a bathroom door. It stays off the counter and off the side. It folds to a compact size and fits comfortably in a suitcase. I highly recommend this item!
