🦅 Eagle Creek Black Wallaby Pack-It Organizer for Efficient Packing Review

I wear this on my wheelchair every day. It easily stores everything I need and hangs pretty well on the back of my chair. He gets hit a lot and is holding up pretty well. It's actually very light, but you can pack so many things in it that it doesn't stay light for long. (Update: I've had others like this. Have had to replace these. Not very long actually. Plastic hanger is a weak point)

The cost engineers at Eagle Creek went to work and simplified what was a great product. As mentioned in other reviews, the hook you use to hand it has been changed from metal to plastic. Bags that used to have elastic at the top are now smaller and don't have elastic - meaning they're for things that fall out. Why oh why did Eagle Creek have to ruin a great product? I would happily pay a few bucks more for a product that is as good as it used to be.

I had an old Wallaby II. This one claims to be the same dimensions but the inner pocket is smaller at the top (flat instead of a gusseted pocket) so you don't have to tuck the bag in fill to the brim as it compresses anything you put in the top pocket towards the center. . Center pockets no longer have elastic to hold whatever you put in, so things fall out. The bottom pocket has a clear plastic side which is not very durable and doesn't resist tearing like an old cloth net. Too bad Eagle Creek

I bought this to take on vacation because I needed something light but spacious.
