Oil smells great and removes makeup well, but won't wash off with water. Most makeup stays on the towel and I still have to use a proper cleanser as it leaves a greasy shine along with makeup residue. I've had much more success using regular eye makeup remover on a baby or makeup wipe, followed by a full face cleanser. This is the second mineral oil cleanser I've tried and I just don't think cleansing oils are effective enough to remove makeup. It just feels like I'm rubbing all my eye makeup into the rest of my face. It's a dirty process. This can be a good first step for people who wear a lot of makeup, but if you want to make sure everything is washed off your face, you still need to use a different cleanser.
