Review on 🔧 Optimized Impeller Assembly for Fluval FX5/FX6 Canister Filters by Sara Lutz

I bought my FX5 12 years ago for my 150 gallon tank; He worked and walked every day for 6 years. I called Fluval and they told me to take the impeller out and clean it; I did exactly that and it worked flawlessly for another six years until about a month ago. I thought "No problem, just clean"; I cleaned it but it still didn't work so I ordered a new impeller assembly and o-ring. After getting a new build and reading the instructions, I decided to double check my old one. Of course I put it back in the wrong way (the arrows weren't aligned)! I put everything together correctly and the old impeller is leaking water like a water hose! I decided to keep the new building; I really can't wait another 12 years on the old one. THIS IS AN AMAZING WELL MADE PRODUCT.
