Review on Twinkly Multicolor App Controlled Decorations Generation by Randall Kelley

I really wanted to love these lights. After reading some reviews I decided to buy it. What a big mistake. I bought 2 sets of 600 lamps for a 10 foot tree. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get it working. The first batch of 600 was enough to fill a 10 foot tree. Viewing the lights with the app was a total mess. The mapping involved taking photos with the phone through the app until all the traffic lights turned green. Lights have 1 plug with many lights connected. The last 20-40 lamps in each batch were not displayed (they stayed red). I tried all possible ways but no luck. I also removed the headlights and tried to put them on the tree differently. I thought it was a bad set so I tried a second set. Same problem! Both kits received a 5mware firmware update when I connected. I suspect the problem was in the firmware. I emailed the seller but since I ordered the item in August I couldn't return it. I will contact Revain and try to return them for a refund. I would NOT recommend light until the bugs are fixed.
