Review on Noctua NF-A9 PWM: Premium Quiet 4-Pin Fan (92mm, Brown) - Efficient Cooling Solution by Miranda Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I turned off my crappy Dell fan on my computer hard drive

I have a Dell i7 and it started making such a loud noise like the fan is on all the time and I have it for developing programs like Adobe Photoshop used or Illustrator , and every time I use it to create something heavy like big files the fun will be so loud. So I showed Google and YouTube videos that if I replace the fan with this Noctua fan with the original Del fan that comes with the computer, it stops. And believe me I was scared to do it myself so opened my head, took out the old one (and yes it sucked) connected all 4 pins to Dell and connected the wire to the disconnected wire for the old one. I also have a 12 inch. I put it in place of the original and made a corner where I can put the other 9 inches and I put both in and I use the extension cord that came with it and the sniper to connect them. thaBoy, believe it or not, I was afraid to turn on the computer, what if I break it. Hmm, yes that's fine, and these are the high-end 1TB versions of the Dell Tower. I turned it on and from then until now not a single sound, my computer is quiet, no noise, and I upgrade the RAM from 8GB to 24GB. The noise had just died down and I couldn't believe it was graveyard quiet. I was so impressed. I'm a graphic designer, not an IT girl, but I looked closely at YouTube and was able to pull it off. You can do it, just trust yourself and save some money.
