As far as shapewear, these are soft and comfortable. I have lots of this type of undergarment and these are pretty top of the line. The stomach area is thick and hides my lovehandles and gives a more sculpted appearance. They don’t give me stomach ache from squeezing like some shapewear does.These are booty shorts, so they do not go down your thigh or cover your whole bum. Good news is there are no lines if you wear them with jeans or tight pants. Great for under dresses too! The bad news is, if you need support or sculpting on your thighs, these aren’t that. They also give a little lift in the bum, but I’ve got a lot of junk in my trunk so they ride up when I wear them all day. Not so much I have to pull them down, but enough that they’re not doing much sculpting.Overall these are great for my tummy and lovehandles only. I love the soft fabric and smooth feel. You can wear with or without underwear (a thong).
