I ordered Sugar Coral Snowflake sweaters for my adult daughter, this poodle and myself. Since this seems to be the first review of women's sweaters, I will go into some details of this review. We are very happy with the sweaters! The colors are very cheerful, bright and vibrant - brilliant coral, dark red and light turquoise on a light gray background. Both my daughter and I are knitters and we were impressed with the quality and construction of the sweaters. The sweaters are knitted from non-stretch yarn, and the sweaters are treated inside and out (meaning there are no long 'floating' pieces of yarn inside for the dog's claws to snag). Women's sweaters are made to measure (compare your measurements with the chart) and trimmed with what appear to be real mother-of-pearl buttons - a sign of a quality sweater. I want to wear it underneath on cold days. I usually take a medium size, but in this case I was more concerned with practicality than glamour. The jersey doesn't stretch very much so I'm glad I didn't go for a tighter fit. It's perfect for my purposes - very cute and happy looking, warmer than average sweater for walking the dog around the neighborhood and in the park. My daughter usually takes a small or very small sweater, but I ordered a medium size for convenience and was happy with the fit for the same reasons. My Miniature Poodle (Mademoiselle Crepe Suzette) is very long and low. Her back measures nearly 16 inches long and she has a girth of approximately 17 inches. She is 9.5 inches from floor to shoulder and weighs approximately 11 pounds. I bought her a size 14" and it fits well although it's a bit roomy. I figured it would be better to cover her length than have a tight cropped sweater.
