Ideal for art. I used this to make my baby's one year old footprint instead of those bulky clay shapes that end up breaking or getting lost in the box. It worked fabulously. I realized how deeply pigmented these colors are now when I painted a layer on his leg, stamped it and immediately washed it off. It took at least 2 weeks for all the blue to go away. She penetrated every crease and every pore of his little leg and held it tight. I'm still glad I did and I would do it again, I just know it will be there for a while.
