I would give 5 stars if there was a black in the set. But other than that, I LOVE the colors in this set. The clay is light, moist and soft and is easy to shape. I love that they provide enough small plastic bags to put the clay in for storage. Good move! I also love that they supplied plastic tools for my 5 year old to use. She was also able to follow a step in the book to make finer details with a little help (the yellow emoji from the book). We love that they also provided a few accessories to make some keychains and charms, although we haven't used them yet. The clay dries within 6-8 hours and I find you have to work a little quickly as the outside dries quickly so I also keep a damp paper towel nearby when assembling the parts that have been sitting for a few minutes. Once the outer area starts to dry, adding detail such as lines and indentations (dimples or mouths) is also not effective, so you need to keep an eye on this or apply detail before the clay starts to dry. Also, if you wait too long and try to adjust the shape after the outer layer dries, you will get stretch marks or cracks on the surface (see white kitten). Overall I am very happy with this set. I recommended it to a few friends who were also very satisfied. In fact, I'll probably reorder in the future when I start using paint.
