I'm giving 3 stars across the board because it's right in the middle and if I'm forced to go one way or the other I'll probably err on the side of 2 stars. I'm trying to be generous here. Ha ha. First the bad: It arrived in a box that had been re-taped and smashed. The carrier was in a bag in a box. There was a hole in that pocket. It was raining so the box was quite wet (the delivery man gave it to my husband that way - it wasn't outside at my house). The backpack was wet in one place where there was a hole in the pocket, in another place it was damp. The backpack smelled so bad. Like naphthalene mixed with diesel. It was so awful I couldn't keep it inside. I sprayed it over and over with fabric lysol, febrize and carpet deodorant spray. I gave up and hand washed everything in a big bucket. The smell didn't go away until I added vinegar to the soapy water. Now the wearer smells faintly of vinegar mixed with mothballs mixed with diesel fuel mixed with dishwashing liquid. All this to wear for fat cats. Now for the good: The stretcher is well made. He's had to endure all the shit he's been through on the way to my house, and all the washing, deodorant, and being outside he's been through since he got here. Is it worth the money? no Time is money and I've spent a lot of time, water, soap, vinegar, spray deodorant and energy turning this into a viable option to carry around the world's roundest and meanest wildcat. Note: When I used Twitter to complain to UPS about their package, they referred me to Revain. Rather than sending me back to UPS, Revain refunded my purchase in full and told me to keep the carrier or donate. I have no idea who is to blame for the wearer's condition or the disgusting smell, but the dollar needs to stop. Somewhere, I say, buy a similar bag from another seller.
