The power cord is not properly connected to the motherboard
I was skeptical about buying this but after reading the reviews it seemed like most people would work with it so I bought it. When it arrived, I immediately noticed that the DC connector was dangling from the outside of the plastic case. When I plugged it in it immediately started flickering and sometimes went out entirely if you moved it a bit. Intrigued, I carefully disassembled the case and made sure the red wire was badly soldered to the motherboard, which explains the poor contact.
