I bought this Mobitron stand because I have a 12.1" Asus Eee Slate B121 tablet computer and almost every tablet holder designed for a smaller size on the market. Tablets like the iPad. The first thing that struck me was the heavy weight of the product. When I saw the large locking teeth on the strong metal hinges, I was relieved that I didn't exceed a hundred Spent 100 dollars on something cheap. This is a solid product. The installation of the stand was pretty smooth. I installed it first with the included extension plate that connects the stand's mounting lug to the seat screw, but I noticed quite a bit of wobbling, actually a bit more than i would assume acceptable for stands for $100+ it looked like the reason could be the use of an extension plate, so I removed the plate and attached the hollow mounting tab directly to the seat rail with the seat screw. , that is, they offer an installation option. Voila! This has reduced the wobble to such an extent that it's literally no longer an issue. (I strongly recommend that if you are thinking about buying a support arm brace, BEFORE YOU DO THIS, see if you can attach the stand mount eyelet directly to the seat bolt without using an extension plate. This alone can reduce sway by more than 50% .) The cradle was very comfortable. With all the height, width, and depth adjustments it has, I knew I would have no problem holding my large tablet securely, which it does very well. However, I had to make one modification to one of the four adjustable stops: The power socket and the volume control are in the upper left corner of my tablet. The stop in that corner was blocking those items, so I used a vise to level the 90 degree angle and lower the new 90 degree angle about an inch. The problem is solved. The stand attaches perfectly to my car and my tablet attaches perfectly to the stand, but I had trouble adjusting the tablet to get the best viewing angle. Although the Mobitron has A LOT of flexibility with positioning and tilt adjustment, the cradle can't rotate (picture grabbing the cradle with both hands and trying to turn it like a steering wheel) and it needs that ability. The more I position my tablet for the best viewing angle, the more the screen tilts to the left, and there's no practical way to fix this. The piece of paper in the box offered me a free USB LED light if I left a five star review, but my honesty prevents me from giving a five star review on a product that is very good but not is perfect. This is a great product in almost every way, but I seriously considered returning it as the stand doesn't rotate. I can angle my tablet to a good enough angle, but when I place it exactly where I want it, it tilts more to the left. If the stand had a rotation setting I would easily give this product a full five stars. By the way, since it is not specifically mentioned in the product description, I would like to point out that this stand has a quick-release lever. You can remove it from your car in seconds. (For those of you who don't find this review helpful, I would sincerely appreciate it if you leave a comment that my review didn't help you. I always try to improve my reviews. Thank you!)
