Review on Convenient CallToU Wireless Caregiver Pager System with 3 SOS Buttons/Transmitters and 3 Receivers - Ideal Home/Personal Attention Pager for Patient Care and Nurse Calling - Plugin Receiver Alert by Heather Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Got this for elderly care and it has a surprise feature.

The quality of the materials is quite expected. As for the plastic, I wouldn't plug it into an outlet that gets direct sunlight lest it crack over time. They're a good size, but the rubber membrane over the button feels a little flimsy and I'm not sure how long it will last. When connecting the buttons to the base, I noticed that you can set different tones for each button. First set the desired tone, then connect the button. Select the next tone and connect another button if required. This comes in handy for a few people using this or you can get doorbells and know when the front or back door opens. You can also set up a red button for emergency help and a blue button for please come here. I've also added wall train stations that work the same way. Just SELECT THE TONE YOU WANT, EACH TIME, before pressing the next button. It reverts to "Ding Dong" unless you change it before pairing the next button. I put one receiver in my bedroom and another under my desk, then went outside and asked my mother to listen to it at key points. That's an impressive distance, which I imagine will decrease as battery power drains. So keep an eye on them if you need removal. Mailbox - check. Across the street to check. Neighbors at home - check. The back of the neighboring property is a check. To the edge of the field - too far. So 300-400 feet is totally within the capability of this device that also had to pass through multiple walls. I believe it has 4 volume settings and the only real downside for me is too many ringtones instead of ringtones. - To attach the strap, use the tool in the box to remove the backing, insert the loop from the outside, then pass the other end of the strap through the loop on the back and tighten. Don't count on just plugging it in. It won't stay in place and can come off with a tug. I'll add a photo if I can. The whole setup was a little pricey, but it's a one-time thing. There is no monthly subscription so I think it might be worth it.
