I recently bought a 27" iMac and was dying to have it with at least 32GB of RAM for Lightroom and Photoshop CC. Apple charges an additional $500 to upgrade an iMac from 8GB to 32GB GB, and the standard iMac upgrade delays the ship date.So I ordered a standard 8GB preconfigured iMac and ordered an additional 32GB from OWC.It only takes 10 minutes to install RAM and my iMac is now 40GB. (8GB from Apple + 32GB from OWC) and I saved $300 compared to Apple's price for 32GB RAM!
