I bought this to have monogrammed to wear for my wedding day. I bought a large and it fits like a medium/large would from any store, if your borderline large/xl I would go up a size. I am hoping to lose some lbs before the wedding so I think it will be perfect. I am 5'2 with a larger bottom half and it did cover everything and came just above my knee. It is a little bit more sheer than I expected but my fiancé said even in bright lighting that he couldn't see anything through it so I am hoping with camera flash I will still be covered. It is really nice and light and it comes packaged really nicely. Great spring/summer robe. I ordered royal blue and it is true to color, maybe a little bit darker than University of Kentucky blue for reference haha!
