Review on 🐍 Exo Terra Snake Cave Hideout by Hagen - Enhancing Reptile Habitat by Desiree Orr

I have two seven year old ball pythons, 3 1/2 feet long and would buy them again for them.

Hello to all my reptile or small animal friends. Personally, I've had them for about seven years now and currently have two pythons. Exo Terra snake cave, large, I find ideal for keeping my pythons. A really big plus is that the two I ordered about a year ago came with moss for the inside of the caves. Of course, one of the extreme benefits of having moss in my ball python baby brothers' burrows/dens is that it keeps out the extra moisture. Each time I go into each of my ball pythons in separate tanks daily with a spray bottle filled with water to raise the humidity to a reasonably high humidity of 50-70%, I squeeze a spray or two from the water to keep them shut moisten but don't soak the moss in the caves. A book I bought at a local pet store called Balloon Pythons makes it clear that balloon pythons actually prefer smaller, more closed skin, so the big one of my little balloon python brothers just loves it. My ball pythons are about seven years old and about three and a half feet long. If my ball pythons were six inches to a foot long I would say that is too short for them. One of the only downsides I've ever experienced in these caves is that sometimes when I take my little ball python brothers out of their tanks to stretch their legs a bit, they stick their tail through the cave entrance and I stick a half take -pound-den with me. But in a few minutes I separated Snake from the cave. This is not because the caves are too small, but simply because of the tenacity of my pythons. A question I could easily hear from someone after two months of feeding was: are the burrows big enough? And even then, they're "tight," but okay. One of my little python brothers eats a little rat every two weeks, and my other soft little python brother eats four big mice every two weeks, one at a time. It's a slow slip into their lair, but they're just making their way inside. With that in mind, the only other downside I could think of with these burrows is that my little ball python brothers end up in them quite often because they're so tight. Which isn't really a problem. What I mean is that if you have an aquarium pet, no matter where they come from, you will clean up the gifts they leave for you.
