One day my microwave stopped heating food. The lights came on, the turntable spun, the fan made fan noise, but the food still stayed cold. It happened once at first, but then it worked again, but during the day it didn't get hot at all. The symptoms indicated that everything about the electronics was fine, but something in the capacitor/transformer/magnetron area was defective. I've done all the usual tests (switches work, capacitor ok, no ground at transformer) and nothing obvious happened to the magnetron or diode, but I couldn't really test either with the equipment I had. I thought for $70 I could try this magnetron/diode combo and see if it fixes the problem. And so it happened! It was the perfect replacement for my Samsung OM75P(10) magnetron (see photo). It should be noted that the second thing that looks like a plug is a thermal fuse (see the circled item in the photo). So make sure you remove them from the old one and screw them onto the new one.
