Let me start by saying that this armrest is a brilliant idea in theory and very comfortable. I really like the design, even if it looks a bit cheap. Unfortunately I received a product that was obviously used and had food crumbs stuck in the cracks and the adhesive holding the pads in place stopped working. I also have to agree with many other reviews regarding the Velcro length. I realized it was included and intended to replace it with my own if it was in good condition, but the velcro straps are actually even shorter than advertised as they need to be rolled back up. Take the measurements from the listing, then trim them down a full inch, maybe two, just to be on the safe side. If you know you're coming, you can easily replace the Velcro with your own or use zip ties, and there's an additional strapless strap hole to secure it even more. Despite the 2 star rating, partly because of the shipper and partly because of the straps, I think this product promises a lot. It just isn't quite there as it comes and when you order it, inspect it carefully to make sure it's genuinely new. Mine was clearly used heavily before it was sent to me.
