Review on 🔧 Permatex 80335 Muffler and Tailpipe Sealer: Ultimate 3 oz. Solution! by Domonic Roberts

The material was perfect for my application. I had a crack about 1/4" x 1.5" in the exhaust pipe. It's right next to the attached piece of heat shield so it was easier to fill, but it would work if there was a 1/4 crack somewhere. Applied as intended and works great, truly amazing. It's only been a week so I don't know how long it will be. Photos show before, immediately after application and fully cured. Also smooths out well. There's still a lot left in the tube. UPDATE MARCH 2020: After a year or so this stuff fell off but I think it was due to some other variables. Still, for a patch that lasts a year, it's great! I just applied more today, the hole is still the same size, so it's a good thing it hasn't gotten any worse. There is a lot of surface rust on my muffler but that is the only hole and it still seems hard. So if I fix it every year for $6 and about 5 minutes of work I can't complain! To be honest it took longer than I expected. There's probably more in the tube, maybe one more use (only 3 uses, but I use a lot). There are still 5 stars!
