Review on πŸ‘ XL Handmade Eco-Friendly Dryer Balls - Smart Sheep 8-Pack: 100% Premium Wool, All-Natural Fabric Softener by Carmen White

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my sheep's eggs!

These things are great! I would imagine, but they seemed to get more efficient after the first few charges, so there may be a break-in period. Those of us who associate perfume smells with clean laundry might also have an adjustment period, but I and everyone I've introduced them to have preferred our "sheepballs" to chemical fabric softeners. Clothes loaded in the dryer dry faster and things wrinkle less than without balls. Having ordered a set of 8 I see no reason to base the amount used on the load - in this case I think more is probably better. They don't leave lint on my dark clothes, and while they're no substitute for an iron, they'll keep your jeans from drying into tangled accordion folds. For those complaining about static electricity, I don't recall any claims of eliminating it and have noticed a bit more when taking clothes out of the dryer now that the colder weather has set in, but I'd rather it shrug off I'd rather expose myself and other cumulative loads to unnecessary chemicals (try white vinegar when washing and drying natural and synthetic items separately to reduce static electricity). I apply a few drops of lavender essential oil to a couple of balls with each charge, which leaves a lovely scent, although it's more evident in the garden when standing in front of the vent - I hope the squirrels enjoy it too! (Of course, essential oils should not be used indiscriminately, especially undiluted, on children and people with special sensitivities.) Not only did he become quite capable of doing laundry, but he also impressed his picky sisters, who left notes, with his find. This is a great product that anyone who uses a dryer should add to their laundry kit.
