Tool purchased a few months ago, project was delayed so never took it out of the box until needed. cuts until the motor stops. Checked fuses, tried many sockets. I passed the return window at Revain so I need to try and get warranty service. 3 years are stated on the packaging. BUT ONLY WITH REGISTRATION On Saturday we called the support. Closed. They called Monday and were told I needed to take the tool to a local service center. Gave me a number to call. This local service center is closed. When I called back the second lady was much nicer and let me try 2 different places. Both let me know it would need to be shipped to California and shipping would be on me. Before that, I had a pretty positive opinion of Skil. When you buy this saw. Do yourself a favor and practice well while you're still in the return window.
