Replaced the GE Profile microwave/hood combo with this unit after the GE repeatedly failed and became clogged with grease. It never had strong suction. We decided to use a combination of the best range hood and a small tabletop microwave in our small kitchen. This new Fotile hood does the job perfectly. The processing quality is excellent, the installation instructions are sufficient. The only downside was that the print was rotated on the cardboard template (i.e. not perpendicular 1/4 inch from one end of the template to the other), despite having all the important mounting holes. It took a bit of unnecessary effort to figure it out and install the device. Once installed, it works like a charm. Very, very quiet and powerful and possibly better than the much larger range hood we had in our previous kitchen. One problem with my setup is clearly that you need a large diameter duct to get the best performance. I reduced the distance from the 7" opening on the hood to 4" and that made a lot of noise. However, it is much better than what we had before. 5 stars overall, although they need to fix this pattern.
