Review on Beck Arnley 158 0942 Mass Sensor by Robert Helstrom

Well, there was a lack of quality with this MAF gauge, especially at the relatively modest cost of the part - it's not a cheap dollar MAF. The grid on the outlet was already broken when I unpacked it. This gave me the opportunity to examine both the inner surface and the outer surface closely. The plastic looks like regular plastic used in toys, not like the glass reinforced plastic used in good OEM parts. There was excess casting line on the outside and the narrow part of the venturi had a plastic flash at this casting line. Because of this, the narrow OD was rough - right where this part should be smooth for good airflow measurements. I was unsure about this part and returned the defective part in lieu of a replacement rather than a refund. I was totally disappointed, this is not recommended for the price.
