Review on 🌱 Ultum Nature Controsoil Freshwater Planted Aquatic Substrate - Classic Black by Leslie Wilcox

I have tried many substrates for my planted aquariums. Sand/gravel does not provide enough plant nutrients. The Fluval layer breaks up easily and clouds the water. Seachem's Flourite will form a dirty cloudy mass if not flushed frequently. However, Ultum Nature System Controsoil requires NO RINSE and will not cloud the water. Now I have it in 7 aquariums and will continue to buy it for more aquariums despite the high price. My plants thrive in Controsoil and it looks great too. Recommended for aquariums with plants.
