Review on 🎶 Enhanced HomeDock Experience for iPod: DLO HomeDock Deluxe by Blake Clemons

I received this as an upgrade from a previous version of Homedock Deluxe for the additional ability to display video titles on screen. But it doesn't work. The list of TV shows is completely unordered - episode titles appear randomly in different series folders. And long titles don't scroll, so you can read them like you would on iPod. I tried an online software update but it didn't work. DLO was quick to respond to my question about this by saying they had no "additional information". I tried this new dock with an iPod 5.5 video. I heard that the video list doesn't work at all with the latest iPods. So I will be returning it and going back to using my old version of the device which has always worked fine except the remote was broken. I went through 3. Don't change the battery, just order a new remote control directly from dlo. As an additional note though - some people have complained about distorted audio - I found it was all about turning the volume down. Homedock with the remote control - a feature I'm sure some people don't even know exists! This feature allows the Home Dock to get its audio signal quite hot, which is good for some very low volume videos (e.g. iTunes TV shows) but bad for most MP3 music files which have a much hotter volume have output.
