Suitable for training, not suitable for events

This is my second pair of these shorts and I've noticed a few changes from the first pair I bought over a year ago. As for the cheap jersey/biking shorts, they're not bad. I paid about $30 for them. but wouldn't pay more for it if the price went up. I am happy with my older pair and will only use them for training. The 2nd pair I just bought in the same size sags when I run and the padding is very wide. I don't want to wear them when they're wet. I think they're good for short bike rides, but for a real triathlon I'll stick with my fancy expensive shorts just to be safe.

Pros

MAXIMUM COMFORT: Wide 1.25" elastic waistband and drawcord keep shorts in place. A streamlined, single-layer leg grip provides a comfortable fit and eliminates the need for "sausage legs".
