Love these pants! I'm an avid hiker, especially hiking the Appalachian Trail. I'm often away for a few days and seem to get caught in the rain too often. The first weekend I took these pants on a hike, soaked from a long rain in the morning. I don't wear raincoats; too hot These trousers absorb moisture very well! The next morning they were literally dry. To get them that way, when we got to camp the day it rained on us, I hung them in my tent (they weren't wet). That night I slept with these pants in my sleeping bag but didn't put them on. They were already dry when I stuffed them into my sleeping bag. These pants are comfortable and I love kicking the bottom of my legs off on hot days. I read a review that said they are not for muscular people. OK, I agree. I'm a skinny guy. They fit me very comfortably.
