Impressive. This little idiot saved my ass recently. I've been using it with a projector for a while, but when I moved to a new location and put up my used 46-inch Sony TV, I found that its HDMI ports report that they're actually DVI, 640x only 480 and do not support HDCP. I manually set my Xbox One to HDMI output and it worked, but I still didn't get any Blu-ray or DVD playback, just a black screen. Enter this adapter. As a last resort before blowing up the TV, I pulled this adapter out of my projector and plugged it into the TV's VGA port - and it now works with no noticeable transcoding lag. I'm happy. If you have a projector or an old broken TV like I have, this is the one you should get.
