Original and BEST.

Do yourself a favor and just buy one of these. Not a cheaper version - not nearly as good as this one, but a tad cheaper. Buy this. This brand. I didn't care what color it was, although I really liked the matte black I bought. I got one because it was the cheapest color and I needed it NOW. I wanted a pot of oil. Started cheap - NOT L Tremain Original Butter Crock. It was a different brand, same design. NOT THE SAME! The oil didn't stay fresh. Anyway, it broke and I got another one. This time with holes. I liked this idea. 1 day broken. I FINALLY decided to bite the bullet and buy L. Tremaine Original Butter Bell Crock. It's worth it. And for those complaining that it's made in China? In the past, the best porcelain - BONE CHINA - came from China. A lot of crap comes out of China these days. It's not one of those things. This is a quality product that works very well and happens to be made in China. It happens. This oiler will keep the oil fresh for weeks if the water is changed regularly. It's very well done. I bought 3 different brands and this is the original and the best.

EASY TO USE FOR ALL TYPES OF OIL - It's that simple! Pour 1/3 cup of cold water into the bottom of the pitcher, then FIRST brush the lid with softened butter. Put the lid on the base and you're good to go! The sealed packaging protects and preserves the delicate flavor and freshness of the oil. Each butter container contains a stick or cube (1/2 cup or 125 grams) of your favorite brand of butter or even your own homemade butter. Try adding fresh herbs or spices to make a delicious aromatic oil!
