I just needed to soften the sharp edges of my plexi sheet on my desk. The instructions say to heat it in hot water to stretch it. I didn't notice much stretching, but it's not necessary anyway. First you need to peel off the double-sided adhesive to attach it to the clear corner protector. If you're trying to install a long piece, you'll need help keeping everything straight to glue it in place without leaving a complete wreck. it's on your edge. The end result is a bubbly, odd look at the corners. It's not pretty at all but does the job by giving me a smooth edge to work with. If you don't need clear bubble balls on your desk, you won't mind this one. It's easy to remove when you no longer need it. It doesn't stick forever
