I was looking for a good pair of 8x32 binoculars and came across a discussion about this model on a bird forum. I bought a pair to see what all the fuss was about. Good lightweight binoculars with very good optics. I compared them to the Vortex 7x36 Diamond Cap and they are definitely better. Good picture and I particularly liked how well they handle glare. Staring down the road at night through the headlights of oncoming cars was way better than a diamond back. I found their low light performance to be better than I expected compared to the 8x42 which cost twice as much, they looked just as bright and actually had a wider field of view. The included lens cap (rain cover) is useless, but I really like the lens caps. One note: I can only use them with my glasses. I'm pretty nearsighted and they didn't have enough adjustment range to focus for my eyes. It's not a problem for me as I never use binoculars without glasses anyway, but for someone it might be important.
