Review on πŸ”‘ Key Fob for Honda CR-V 2002-2004 / Civic Si 2002-2005 / Element 2005-2011 Keyless Entry Remote (OUCG8D-344H-A), Set of 2 by Tim Thuss

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ok, but bad link to instructions.

They appear to be a bit lighter and less durable than the Honda OEM remote. The biggest problem with them, which is why they only get 3 stars, is the delay between pressing the button, transmitting and being able to transmit a second time. .For example, if you want to open all doors, press the button 2 times. Well, there is a 2-3 second delay before you can press the button again to transmit. The OEM remote works out of the box. It works instantly by quickly pressing the unlock button to open the doors or trunk. What's interesting is that at first I thought one of them was defective. Why? Online guides and third party videos claim that you can program up to 3 remote controls on the Honda Element 05. You can only program 2. That's why I thought 1 was erroneous. If you're re-programming you'll also need to create the original OEM remote, so I did that first and then tried to add these 2. Tried reprogramming a second time and did these 2 first and they worked but not the OEM remote so if you already have 1 working remote buy 2 us a waste of money
