So far so good for starters and alternators

I needed a new alternator for my 99 tdi Beetle. I saw this one and it had good reviews so I decided to give it a try and save $100-$150. He was right in the regular spot (which is a headache with these cars). So far this is working fine. My scanner reads a little over 14V when running.
