I think the o-ring is too small to get a good seal, especially on slightly rough or uneven surfaces.
The install is a real PIA because of the very small o-ring they use to seal the unit. Also, I think the o-ring is too small to provide a good seal, especially on slightly rough or uneven surfaces. I wish it came with an o-ring at least three times the diameter of the one that comes with it. I used some silicone to make sure it didn't leak, but this option is hard to trust. The rest of the lighting and coverage is fine. They also work with a dimmer.
