Review on 🧺 RetroClean Cleaning Solution Bag by Stefan Eddy

Okay I bought this thinking the reviews were probably more hype for a product that was reliable but not wonderful. SO WRONG. I found a stunning vintage quilt that was in great shape structurally but had aged so much because the fabric had darkened and yellowed from decades of storage and dust collection. d Wash normally first, wait for the Retro Clean to arrive and trust a normal wash to do most of the work. I washed in hot water and soaked in my heavy duty machine for an hour. When it came out the same as before, I figured it was hopeless and no special powder would do much better. The Retro Cleaner arrived and I filled the tub halfway with the hottest water and dumped the entire pack of Retro Cleaner. in. I dropped into the blanket, stirring and squeezing everything out and was amazed when less than 5 minutes later the water started to look cloudy and brown (photo). the tub was literally full of iced tea: dark, orange-brown water. Could NOT figure out how much junk was left in the comforter I soaked and washed the day before! I drained the tub and dove back into the new hot water, letting the residue on the wet blanket continue to soak. Brown water continued to form. I drained the water after an hour and alternately squeezed and rinsed until mostly clear water was squeezed out. I then put it back in the washing machine and dried it in the dryer. When it came out of the dryer I was blown away. The dream is much more vibrant in color and the whites and overalls have just been refreshed and refreshed. This will forever be my go-to for vintage fabrics!
