Love, love these. I was tired of wearing a skirted bottom but still very self conscience of revealing my upper thighs. I’m 5”2 and a size 14-16 bottom depending on the make. I got a 1x to make sure I had enough room and not too tight. They are made very well and for a great price. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy wearing them. They are a comfortable stretch, no extra liner/panty bunch, just the shorts so you don’t have that extra bulge from the liner. While swimming, you may have to pull them down some when you get out on the sides but that’s nothing because it’s normal to readjust after you get out of the water. They tie on the side which gives it a cute look and covers the top part of your thigh nicely. Once you get used to not having all that material around you like the skirt does, you’ll be good as gold. Give yourself that chance. I have bought two in black, two in blue and one black with white polkadots. I’ve gotten compliments while wearing them, which has made me feel even better about myself and how I look in them. If you have fuller, thicker thighs and tired of wearing a skirt, these swim boy shorts are what you’ve been looking for. I haven’t worn a solid bottom in over 20 years and I love the freedom I feel without all that extra material around me.
