Review on Spectre Performance 6813 Stainless Steel by Marco Hubbard

I bought this hose because of the high ratings in the reviews and while the hose appears strong and sturdy it is difficult to bend to shape . I tried hooking it up to a water pump throat and radiator outlet that were at 90 degrees to each other and it wouldn't conform to that configuration. It would be better to connect the fittings parallel to each other than try to twist that hose. As others have pointed out, the stainless steel braid on the outside of the hose has a lot of loose threads that will pierce your skin like a hypodermic needle. I don't think the hose should be made like this - the braid should be smooth like other manufacturers do with their braided hoses. I cannot recommend this hose.
