I bought a bicycle seat so my son can ride behind me. This set came with footrests and a seat for about $40. When the wood in this seat started to rot I had to take it apart to replace the wood. Realizing how easy it was, I built a second seat for my wife's bike. However, I couldn't figure out how to make footrests, so I decided to buy them. They took forever to get to my house but now that I have them they are great. I wish it had come with mounting hardware but I guess every bike is different. I had to get some washers and bolts to attach the footpegs. I think they should go on the axle but the e-bike has cables coming out there and I didn't want to mess with that. So I installed it where the C-pillar attaches to the frame. Now my kids have a place to put their feet when we take them to the beach. They are more comfortable and I feel safer.
