Prior to switching to this model, I used a Samsung S8 + for 2.5 years. While that phone served me well for the first 2 years, I eventually had to upgrade due to the GPS receiver's appalling quality. In the past six months, however, the phone's performance has drastically slowed, and it appears to be dying before our eyes; whether this is intentional (to conserve a dying battery, for example) or the result of system "slagg[ing]," it has become intolerable. Note 10 in this context is like a nuclear rocket; everything is lightning fast, from app launches to screen transitions to Android Auto in the car. GPS reception is also far superior, determining location in seconds even in highly populated locations. The "unlock" button has been moved to the left side of the phone, which is actually more accessible for people who use their right hand. After only ten minutes of use, I had already stopped giving the hole/camera in the screen any thought. Those in business or office management positions can benefit greatly from having a stylus on hand for taking notes or jotting down dictation at the side of the road. For individuals whose profession involves working with images, the ability to annotate photos or slides is a welcome convenience. The fingerprint scanner functions adequately till I learn the motivations for the attacks on this technology, although it is noticeably slower than the traditional scanners. There is no "Wow" factor when using the camera, and I do not feel that any significant improvements have been made since the S8. The lack of autonomy is little discouraging, but the iPhone 11 lasts noticeably longer than previous models. This carrying case felt very flimsy and lightweight. Simply said, this is your best bet if you're a businessperson, office worker, or creative person whose line of work involves photography.
