Went to a two foot deep attic with insulation and dug around to install a new fan assembly because they don't do anything that would fit in the old hole, it's no fun . But buying this motor, taking 60 seconds to take out three screws and put them back in to move the bracket, install a new fan wheel (also bought from Revain) and then put everything in the old case is great. 10 minutes of work, 4 minutes of internet searching = half a day that I can spend on other things. This fan is not as quiet as the old one. I suspect that rummaging through a drawer in the attic I might find something rattling, which is part of the problem. It moves air, works flawlessly and is definitely a direct replacement. No complaints.
