I have been using safety razors for over ten years and the single blade hybrid has given me the best shave of my life. I usually use the Parker variety with blade springs that allow you to rotate the handle and control the blade force for a softer or more aggressive shave. Even with that kind of control, the Oneblade unquestionably takes the lead. With other razors, I either scratch and get razor burn, or end up with stubble even after three passes. With a blade that I initially thought was too soft to shave, I got a perfectly clean shave in three passes. NEVER ONCE did I feel like I was in danger of cutting myself. The pivoting head allows me to apply gentle pressure without feeling like I'm digging my face. My wife peeked into the shower to comment on how beautiful my face looked. No irritation and I said "Your skin looks like you just shaved but looks like you shaved yesterday" because my skin was perfectly calm and natural. I'm incredibly glad I decided to try this razor.
