Bought this for my husband as a Christmas present. I was aware of the battery issue from looking through most of the posts on the Motoactv forums. However, note that the screen is extremely fragile and can break. The device tends to get stuck in the included clip and is very difficult to pull out (others have also complained about this on the forums). Fell to the ground from waist height, smashing the gorilla's screen on first use as he tried to get the damn thing out to install in a bike mount. Since it was supposed to be a fitness watch, I had imagined it to be more difficult. than that. I've dropped my phones many times and never smashed the screen. I think it's very vulnerable around the edges and I think the design team should have done a better job on that aspect. Either you have to sell a protective case for it, or you have to be extremely careful not to drop it (others have also complained about this problem). Motorola is charging $125 for a screen replacement and I am very unhappy with this durability issue. Otherwise it's a great product, apart from the wireless connection issues we had. Had I known about the fragility of the screen I would have bought a Garmin and cannot recommend this product until the durability issue is resolved.
