The cost is a little high but you can tell by the build quality that they are very high quality and the feel and look of this device is very premium, it will easily last for years without needing to be replaced. I had an LED block that lasted about 2 years. I am sure the battery life on this device will surpass the old one as it has lithium battery which can provide 4 hours of continuous lighting and can support remote head function. In terms of brightness, they are very bright, they generate 1100 per point. Pattern so you can point it at the entrance of your home without thieves thinking, even if the power is out. Installation was easy, there is a quick power connector attached to the wire bracket. . While this simplifies wiring, it can be difficult to make the correct connection. Cut all the plastic junk off the mounting bracket, plug into the device and secure the wires when you install it. That way you know the connection is made and it's a lot less of a headache. Overall this is an excellent quality LED emergency light, very bright and works as intended, highly recommended
