Review on 🐶 Petmate RUFF MAXX KENNEL 24-Inch for 10-20 Pound Dogs, Multi by Kimberly Jackson

I needed 2 cat carriers for vet visits, hurricane evacuation and travel. My cats are about 14# each. I've researched and read reviews of cheaper $20 media and found that they probably aren't strong enough. So I thought this one would be better, the reviews about it were good. $40 seemed reasonable for a good big cat carrier, so I bought 2. Here are the pros and cons of this carrier: Cons: Weak plastic - seriously? The cat is ONLY in with the latches closed. Not even to move it around the house, certainly not somewhere outside or on a quick trip to the vet. The supplied screws must be used to attach the holder. Not easy to assemble (and I'm good with those things) Fragility - my cats are 14# each. I put one in the carrier. It doesn't seem strong enough to be lifted by the handle, even with the holder screwed together. I can't imagine that pet #20 could be used to fly. $$$ expensive for what it is. Pros: Large enough for my 14# cats.
