This year I let the kids decorate the Christmas tree and they chose these garlands. I don't like that they run on batteries but I like that they have two modes. As someone aware of flickering light, remember that the second mode often flickers. I always either leave it on or turn it off. Batteries also last a while so the lights don't eat up batteries. I find them very pretty and easy to assemble. I would 100% recommend them as my 10 year old daughter and 9 year old niece installed them themselves. I would also like to add that we have a cat and every year he takes things from the tree and he has yet to turn off the light but not for lack of trying lol.
