It looks like a small beanbag attached to a piece of cardboard wrapped in faux leather. While I love the aesthetic and the quality of the stitching, this isn't the groundbreaking product I was hoping for. Don't get me wrong, I will continue to use it, but the bean bag mouse pad hasn't changed my attitude or my life much. Although this slightly improves the usage and performance of the mouse, the product could be better for two reasons: 1. If it was filled with real beans or even better rice (not fine rice but heavier) instead of polyurethane balls, it would be better with a sturdier one Provide a platform and don't want to try to sit on a floating beach ball. 2. If the material covering the round (but actually quite durable) top weren't a flimsy faux leather material but a cotton blend or other material better suited for use with a mouse, it would provide a smoother and easier mousing experience . It feels a little "sticky" when moving a wireless mouse, resulting in some jerky movements and less-than-optimal cursor accuracy. In general everything is fine. Now that I think about it more, sand would probably be the best filler.
