Works Great for Us!
Works great for my daughter to make her own videos with her iPad Mini (1st version). I have used it with a 2017 iPad and it works well with that, too. I did add a bit of foam padding to keep her iPad in it just a little tighter, but if she had a case on the iPad, it wouldn't need it.
