For weeks I struggled to keep rats out of my parrot cage on our pool deck. Yes I remove all leftover food etc and even cover the cage with a lid and tie the bottom floor with string to close the bottom. However, the next day the rats still fall into the lower bowl and leave waste there. I had to bring the whole cage inside to protect my bird from diseases. After all, I look for a safe route everywhere, especially we have owls in our neighborhood and I didn't want to destroy them in the process. used, plus the price for three pieces is a real hit! Ordered and two days later the devices were delivered neatly packaged. As can be seen in the photos, I laid out the equipment and set up the new cage at night. There are no more visitors! No more rat droppings! I can even leave the parrot food in until the next day and yes I will provide fresh food and water as well as cleaning up. Sometimes it's too late to take care of the cage late at night after work. I'm sure there will be other devices as well, but for the price and great success I'm sticking with this brand for now. I originally had three, two for the patio as shown in the photos and one for my garage! They are a bit overcast, don't worry about rain unless a big storm is coming up with strong winds and I would take them out from under the patio and connect them to an extension cord to keep the rodent barrier intact!
